A ray of sunshine in these strange and uncertain times. Six of my images have been shortlisted in three different categories of the prestigious Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year - and, out of them, two have reached the final stage of the competition!

Due to the current situation, the wonderful Awards Evening Reception at the Mall Galleries in London is unfortunately cancelled, but there will be virtual celebrations instead. The 2020 winners will be announced during an online Awards Evening presented by Blur's Alex James on Tuesday 28 April at 8pm (BST) - my first virtual party is coming up and you are all invited. Four out of six images were taken on two magazine assignments - the pictures from Siberia were part of a reportage for Dove Viaggi, while the ones from Trentino are part of a feature for Food and Travel which is due to come out soon. A massive thanks to all my wonderful editors for the confidence and trust they have shown in me. Can't wait to be able to pack up my gear and be on the road again.
